History of Tra O lagoon
History records that Tra Lo lagoon used to be a bay of salt water, connected with the sea by a flow to bring water to Ha Ra.
Where there were ships back and forth, busy trading.
Until the second half of the nineteenth century, the Nguyen Dynasty still considered this place a sea ton (the port of a seaport) with a tax collection station.
Over the years, the flooded stream left traces on the surface of a small creek with only water in the rainy season.
The lagoon no longer shares the tidal breathing with the sea, but it still receives water from the mountains through countless small and large streams.
The water in the lake is therefore always full and the day after day the salt fades.
The water is not as sweet as the river but it is not as salty as the sea of Tra O lagoon has created special aquatic products,
Not found anywhere, including ebony and eel, delicious meat, rich flavor and very nutritious.
