Tu Van Pagoda made from millions of coral stones and shells in Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) is hailed as a “treasure for adventurous travelers”.

Tu Van Pagoda is located on 3/4 Street, Cam Ranh City (Khanh Hoa Province).
Built in 1968, the temple is characterized by the sea with the main materials of shells and corals.
This is also the reason why the pagoda is called Oc Pagoda or San Ho Pagoda.

The most prominent campus of Tu Van Pagoda is the 39-meter-high Bao Tich tower.
The work is recognized as the highest conservation tower in Vietnam.
From a distance, the tower looks like it was built with regular stones, but when you look closely, you will notice the meticulous arrangement of many corals.
In 1995, monks started to build Bao Tich tower from coral reefs and shells along Cam Ranh coast. They built manually and it took 5 years to complete this unique masterpiece.
